"The room was ok .. spacious bedroom area although the bathroom was tiny and the door opened into it so that made it even smaller. There was a large cobweb on the bathroom ceiling. The staff that “welcomed” us at check in and I use that term extremely loosely were sadly lacking in customer service skills. We had to ask where the room was and even then the directions weren’t helpful. There was another member of staff sitting around doing nothing which looks very unprofessional. One of our bathroom towels was dirty and I asked the reception staff if someone could replace it with a clean one. No apology which was disappointing. Similarly when we checked out no one bothered asking if everything had been ok with our stay. I will however say that the food in the restaurant is exceptional. We had dinner on the Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy as you would expect. Service was excellent, friendly waiting staff and the food was out of this world. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend the restaurant but steer clear of the hotel. Very disappointed. "

"Our second time staying in this property. Lots of space for our 2 families, extremely comfortable living area and fantastic kitchen/dining area, very sociable. Pub at the end of the drive does great food and the property is in a brilliant location for exploring the Cotswolds or local walks from the door. We’ll definitely be back for another visit."
