"Good sized room and bathroom.
No safe in the room and on the second morning, housekeeping didn't shut the door properly so anyone could have just wandered in.
I'd booked room only so can't comment on breakfast.
A pleasant stay, however and location is perfect."

"Staff were lovely and the room was delightful. As always, the location is perfect for walking. Service in the restaurant is friendly but has room for improvement (eg taking plates away promptly, and presenting wine at the right temperature (red wine temp was good on one day, but far too cold the next). It would be useful when booking if it were clearer that there is a restricted menu Sun - Tues. Overall, we really appreciate the welcome here."

Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return....

Being a guest in The Feathers for 4 days was like stepping back into a gracious way of life that made me feel like I was a guest in a Tudor manor. Every common gathering area was furnished like a welcoming home, with lovely decor and photographs of the hotel's and town's history. The dining and bar service were excellent, and there were nooks for companionable sharing of food and drink. My ancestors lived in Ledbury 300 years ago and I can't imagine why they ever left. Great location and very clean. Parking spot available in secure lot under the apartments. It has a combination washer/dryer, but it took about 6-8 hours to complete one load. Apartment is up one flight of stairs.

Great location, beautiful property and garden. Our room was very small but we made it work. Next time we'd opt for larger room. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, We stayed here on the recommendation of my sister who stayed here in Nov. They raved about the fabulous breakfast, apparently the menu changed since and it was disappointing in being buffet style and the exact same for all 5 days we stayed.sausage, beans scrambled eggs, bacon would have been nice or omelets or...

Excellent restaurant - a chef who ensures every part of your dish is tasty and wholesome. Even breakfast was good. I had a cheap room but it was still a good size and the bathroom was a proper size, not a closet conversion as you often see in old houses. I only booked the hotel on a whim and was quite pleased.
Oh, and the view is amazing. Territorial view for miles, over the tops of the forest and gardens on the hillside. The driveway is narrow and the parking a little crowded, but...

Staying at this historical and elegant property was like being a guest in someone's private country house. Service is personal and professional and the property has been tastefully modernised to ensure all 21st century comforts. We had the opportunity to try the "casual" dining restaurant and went back twice as the food was so good. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.
