And heaven forbid your key not work, which happened to me three times, because it means you have to return to the check-in at the main hotel. While you can walk to the main attraction of Colonial Williamsburg, for the price paid, I would not stay again."

"Staying the night was not bad. It definitely was showing it's age. With the walls being very thick, it was quiet in the room, which was nice. The heat was provided by a portable heater on the counter. The clerk was very friendly and helpful."

"It was a very cute room. Very historic. There were ants all over however. But the location was the best. If you are looking for a quiet retreat the Market Square Tavern rooms are not for you. The cannon goes off a lot and drum and fife play frequently. But you can walk everywhere from it."
