「The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each...

「The views from Shana by the Beach were stunning, and the beach adjacent to the hotel, Playa Biesanz, was lovey and not overly crowded. The winding, narrow road leading to the hotel is certainly not for the faint of heart, and we were never brave enough to venture out after dark because of it. Additionally, the hill on which Shana by the Beach property sits is very steep, making walking it on foot challenging for the able-bodied and I would think impossible for those needing accessible...

「12室ほどの小さなホテルだが、プライベート感がたっぷり、自然豊かな森の中にあるホテル。1階の部屋はすべてプールに面しており、プールサイドにテーブルとチェアがあって、スタッフがそこに食事を運んできてくれる。大きな冷蔵庫とキッチンがあることから、自炊も可能。小規模であることもあって、なによりスタッフとの距離感が近く、みんなとてもフレンドリーで親切で、居心地が良かった。1泊だけだったが、もっと滞在したくなったホテル。フロントの営業時間がもう少し長いと便利。」

「We went here for our honeymoon- and LOVED it!! Incredible breakfast, beautiful view right from the dining area, sunsets unlike any I’ve ever seen, right from our jacuzzi. Private jacuzzi on each balcony… amazing. Also plenty of options for local tours/etc and they arrange for transportation and guides and everything. 「Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. The bathroom was extremely nice with good soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is a lovely trail at the back of the property. 」
