Great location for walking to several restaurants. The atmosphere of the property was very lush and tropical despite being close to the road. Monkeys in the trees were such an exciting treat to see. One thing to consider is you get ur steps in since there are a few. Good exercise so felt I kept fit for the 4 nights. The three different pools were a nice feature as well. Rooms were comfy. AC worked great and beds were comfy. Included Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Restaurant across the street “El Avión” was a fun dinner. Food was good with variety.

Pretty good spot! Quiet villas surrounded by well manicured gardens and pools. The breakfast has an amazing view and such a good vibe! The hotel is pretty much in the centre of the action and still maintains a peaceful atmosphere .We got upgraded to a duplex room so happy about that but there were several geckos inside of it chirping all night. Saw parrots and agoutis on the property, and several monkeys across it. Clean rooms and fresh sheets everyday and perfect a/c :)

I give the hotel 2 stars. It looked like the hotel was about to close. Had a pool bar but looked like it had been closed for a long time. The menu in the restaurant was vegan. It showed healthy on the website. 1 large bath towel per person. No hand towel, no washcloth. Nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom. Advertized yoga classes but was no longer offered. It’s unfortunate because the hotel looked like it had a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, the rooms are mouldy. We are told that that’s what you get in Costa Rica. We had switched rooms and even went to look at a couple others and they all were in similar state. I’m very sensitive/allergic to mold, so it was less than ideal to say the least. The second room that we stayed in some renovations, as there was paint or caulking on the mirror and countertop. Breakfast was fair at best. It was served at a vegetarian restaurant in front of the hotel. Honestly, I don’t think they know how to cook eggs and bacon. The staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Location is great. Right near the restaurants. Not too far from the beach.

Stayed 2 nights, great location 15-20 walk to the beach but all downhill no clear side walk a bit dangerous with traffic not recommended in the dark. Walking back up hill is doable but can also taxi uber or bus . Restaurants close by went to YOLO great salad Live music .also went to Agua Azul had the panko Seared tuna highly recommend it was amazing. Room is decent no safe which I don’t like. Pool is nice and warm. Breakfast was good as well fresh made to order. Staff are very nice and very helpful. I would stay again and recommend.

The rooms were cleaned regularly and spotless and the staff friendly, but what really stood out was the abundant nature. I saw more wildlife here than on all of the nature tours I went on put together. I saw 3 different types of monkey, iguanas and lots of birds including the striking fiery-billed toucan.

We had a very disappointing stay. Upon check-in, the first room we were given had a strong and unpleasant smell. After talking to the front desk, we were moved to another room, but the situation did not improve. The second room had extremely poor hygiene. The bed sheets were dirty and had visible blood stains. The shower drain was not working properly, causing water to back up in the shower area. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is a serious concern, and the breakfast was also very poor. Because of these issues, we decided to cancel our second night and booked another hotel. We would not recommend this hotel and hope the management takes hygiene and maintenance issues more seriously.
