Our stay at Koora Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is cozy, modern, and beautifully nestled within the surrounding cloud forest, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed and welcome. The views are stunning while the thoughtfully designed rooms remain elegant, comfortable, and inviting. The wildlife experience was unforgettable, with coatis roaming the property and easy access to the nearby sloth sanctuary, where we were able to see two-toed sloths up close, along with a jaguar and a tapir. The connection to nature is seamless and truly special. The staff were outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their attention to detail made us feel very well taken care of, from coordinating night hikes and private tours to offering excellent recommendations for exploring the area. The food was delicious and consistently exceeded our expectations. Koora Hotel is a beautiful blend of comfort, nature, and thoughtful service. It’s an ideal place to relax, reconnect, and fully enjoy the surroundings. We would absolutely return.

The drive to the hotel was its own adventure but once you drive up the entrance, you will be so glad that you choose Koora. The moment we got out of the car to the moment we had to leave, we felt welcomed and honoured. The staff are amazing and helpful, almost always available. The restaurant is situated to provide views that you would pay for willingly. The food is amazing and the service - unmatched. The room - we got the two room suite - was comfortable and clean; you just need to know that to get to the second bedroom, you have to walk through the first. They are in storage floors, decorated differently and the amenities in the room are great. The only thing I would say I would mark as disliked is that walking INTO the room you are immediately welcomed by the bed which makes taking off shoes and such a bit of an annoyance; this is because culturally we do not walk with our outdoor shoes inside. For those that do, may not be an issue. We stated 3 days and 2 nights, which included in-room massages … highly recommend. This hotel is for families and singles and couples and everything in between. Quiet, peaceful and serene.

This is hands down the best hotel i or my family have ever stayed at and I travel a lot. The property is in a very serene setting, rooms are immaculate and have amazing views (we had two floors with a bedroom in each floor). Ther service was the winner. They memorize your entire families name and greet you by your name, they help with all tour bookings and the restaurant is world class. We ate breakfast and dinner their every night. Coctails are out of this world and a solid wine list. We were so sad to leave and cant wait to come back

Room was smaller than expected but it was clean. TV did not have cable but Netflix and Prime video so more than ample. Dining staff were world class and meals well presented. If a person is handicapped some of the walkway could be an issue with the grade. Front desk staff (starts with an M) was quick efficient and a terrific representative for the accommodation. Overall We liked this place. The roads were a bit of a challenge but just take your time and you will be fine. I would certainly recommend. Watch for their 2 nights and 1 free. We missed that one but oh well. Pathways and hiking are nice but the chance of seeing a sloth in the wild has less odds than finding Jimmy Hoffa. Do yourself a favor and go to the sanctuary next door and pay $ as it was totally worth it and we saw 12 sloths.. Have a great trip

Koora es un hotel espectacular que ofrece una experiencia única desde el primer momento. La bienvenida es cálida y personalizada, incluso con el detalle especial de que el staff sabía nuestros nombres, lo que hizo que la estadía se sintiera cercana y exclusiva. El servicio fue excepcional en todo momento. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y con una vista impresionante al bosque nuboso de Monteverde, lo que convierte cada amanecer en algo mágico. La propuesta gastronómica del restaurante es deliciosa, con platos frescos y muy bien preparados. Además, la ubicación es perfecta: rodeada de naturaleza pero a pocos minutos del centro de Monteverde. Sin duda, un lugar para volver y recomendar al 100%.
