「Good place to stay and just relax after a full day of fun at Mammoth. The only issue we had is that fans were dusty. We ended up cleaning them. Other that that, the place was clean, the ketches was fully stock with pans, plates etc.. Bed sheets also clean. I would definitely stay in this place again. Thank you.」

「Screen door was locked , couldn’t open the entrance door . One tv in the bedroom with 2 beds wasn’t functioning because it was the wrong remote . Staff (Connie) was quick to respond to the issues though , which was a relief . Heater was in need of adjustment especially being that the weather was very cold . 」

"I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning."
