「Great staff」

「We wanted a hotel near Big Sur. This was 40 min away. No wifi in the area so finding it in the dark was near impossible. The listing should give a mile reading on the remote road. Expedia should not consider this big sur. There should be some warnings about how difficult it is to find in the dark. Very poor markings. We drove past 20 min and had trouble finding it. Accommodation very basic.」

「Room was very clean, and well insulated from the sound of the wind and temperatures. Amenities were excellent. Staff/Manager was very professional and pleasant. 5/5」

「Not good」

「Clean, organized room with perfect location inside the Village in Big Bear. The room was warm with the gas fire going while we checked in. Smooth process to check-in remotely. Staff is helpful, reliable, and easy to reach. Comfortable bed and pillows! Very very spacious room; full kitchen, dining table. Comfortable couch and large front room even with the spa there (didn’t use). Parking easy to find with directions from staff that were texted before check-in.」
