「The place was super roomy and stylish. AC was the quietest we've had. The key for the front door took a little bit of practice to figure out. One of the balcony doors didn't lock. The elevator had a very overpowering air freshener that we did not enjoy. The restaurant downstairs was excellent.」

「This place is in a great location in downtown Panama City, Panama, but the building is infected with roaches. We had to kill at least ten roaches in the apartment that we were staying in. I messaged the host to send a exterminator, but he never did. The hot water heater also doesn't work. The hot water only stayed on for about 5 minutes, in the bathroom shower and then it was cold again. The maintenance guy came twice, but it didn't work. We took lukewarm to cold showers while we stayed there....

「Beware of this host. This host confirmed my reservation and then went MIA the day of check-in. I was stuck in the lobby of the building with my whole family and no access to the unit. VRBO tried to contact him with no success. I had to scramble to find another place last minute which ended up costing more. Beware.」

「If you are looking for a basic apartment with bare minimum, then this is great! It’s referenced as luxury, but there was a sheet on each bed, pillows were flat, only a couch for 2-3 ppl & dining chairs. The photos shows the unit well decorated, but it’s pretty bare upon arrival. The cleanliness also could be better. Parking was also tight, so smaller car recommended. Gave it 4 stars overall, as it was $79/ night when we rented. So got what we paid for.」

「View is nice. Pool is nice. The apartment is pretty bare bones. Only sheets to cover yourself at night. Like 5 clothes hangers to share between all the rooms. The air conditioning unit in the living room didn’t cool, but the ones in the rooms could freeze you out. The chairs in the dinning area were pretty beat up. The guys at reception were friendly. 「The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. Many times she went beyond her call of duty. We have encountered very few Panamanians who...

「Great property and location. Jackie was an awesome host and very responsive to our needs. We would stay again!」

「Great property, amenities and especially VIEW of the boats coming in and out of the Panama Canal. Estaban is wonderful and arranged to pick us up from the airport. This is a quiet, peaceful property that we highly recommend for your stay in Panama City. 「Room was beautiful, spotless, and the view was as expected. For me the elevators were a turn-off. Facial recognition on the elevators was lacking, so I had to get help from security every time I returned from my outings. One night,I waited 21 minutes on the "PB" (lower level) because one of the security men took the only access card to shut down access to the different floors. 」
