「Nice room & building, shame about the lack of care & attention to detail! Arrived to find the room not made up. Ali, a kitchen worker was apologetic & accommodating & said he would call house keeping back. We went off for 1 hour but returned earlier than anticipated as my partner wasn’t feeling well. 「Richard was an amazing host and was very welcoming. I would stay again! The view was amazing from our bedroom and bathroom, and breakfast was delicious. Richard really made us feel arlt home.」

「Okay for a place to stay but its a help yourself breakfast. No staff around. No staff to check you in. I had to phone to get someone to come out. And no one says 'Hello Old Star B&B'. Just 'Hello, Karen speaking.' How are you supposed to know you've reached the right number? No staff on check out. I just left the keys on the bed. Poor customer service.」

「Check in was efficient and friendly. Room: cleanliness questionable ! bathroom was had dust on skirting boards, edges of floor and sockets, with someone’s hair left in the waste bin. Black towels … never know if they are used or not ! Bedding material felt strange, not cotton. Room 6 - close to stairs / doors so noisy when anyone came to bed. Sat Evening & Sunday breakfast- the chef (two different ones) were stood outside the kitchen door on the way for guests to their rooms, vaping....

「1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night .」

「Everything fine for a one night stop over, pub close by for a night cap. Only thing that spoiled it for me was the selfish people who arrived at 3.30am making a right racket. Not sure why people can’t be more considerate, but that’s a human problem not the accommodations problem!!」

「Absolutely great experience staying at Greenfields. Lorraine and her husband are fantastic hosts and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend staying as we will surely be back one day. Thanks for the wonderful experience..」
