Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown products, sausages were really good. Overall we had a lovely , comfortable stay and will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for taking great care of us x

Beautiful old building dated 1642 but tastefully restored inside. Lovely rooms, delicious food. Richard is a great host. Will definitely return when we come back to the area.

First time visitors to this lovely establishment chosen as it had character and not too far from Longleat where we were heading next day. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—they were friendly, attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was excellent, with delicious meals and a great breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the B&B is, loved seeing all the canines in the bar and garden. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We can't wait to return! ***** 5 stars from us!

A lovely pub in a picturesque setting. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately we had an early start the day we checked out so had to leave before we could have a cooked breakfast but upon letting staff know the night we checked in they were able to do us up a takeaway breakfast which was very thoughtful. We ate at the pub the afternoon we arrived and had an amazing roast dinner. A very nice place to stay that’s in a nice quiet location. Would stay again if I needed somewhere to stay in the area.

Beautiful room with so many thoughtful extras! Our evening meal was lovely and breakfast was amazing! So much choice and again fabulous food. We went to the Cheese & Grain in Frome to see a band and this was the perfect peaceful location only 10 minutes away. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!
