「The Bowl Inn is exceptional, set in an idyllic location just outside Bristol city centre. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the bedrooms are luxuriously appointed. One of the highlights was the large windows, which open fully onto the stunning surrounding countryside, creating a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Highly recommended.」
「All was ok, room, cleanliness, amenities and breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows. Some very friendly staff, others not as engaged.
Only criticism would be parking that we didn't realise would cost extra. It was £3.50 for overnight stay.」
「We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail.
The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty.
Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.」
「The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there...
「We were here for a party, the room was very nice and the food was very good. We had a drink and met friends in the bar before hand, there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in there and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a lovely breakfast and there was plenty of choice. We didn't use the spa but it looked busy and inviting.」
「Place is clean and cozy. Rooms are a bit on smaller side and in some of them do have smell of dump (due to shower room being part of the room). Very nice and polite staff, good restaurant and gym. Nice swimming pool.」
