「We loved our stay here in November. Vivi and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported. I unfortunately came down with food poisoning (from an outside restaurant) and Vivi was so sweet and brought me ginger tea and fruit to help! They walked us through the best routes for the national park and gave us great tips and advice. 「Overall a very good place to stay. Very close to the National Forest attractions. Staff will need translator to communicate. They can’t understand English but they are very helpful and friendly. Special mention to the waitress Li Ping on our floor. She was very helpful and took care of use very well. 」

「It was the most frustrating hotel for years of my experience. Which is 50 countries, 180 cities, over 300 hotels. No telephone, iron, TV set in the room. It is very cold in the whole motel. Only two rooms were occupied inc ours. Cheapest sleepers one can imagine. Meal was better in chinese university, where i studied 30 years ago. Dead bird and cigarettes at balcony. Extremely cold in bathroom and no privacy from living room. Pictures on Hotels.com are nice and starring high but in reality it is...

「This hotel was very reasonably priced and the facility is average but what sets this place miles ahead of anywhere else is the graciousness, friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness of the host. He arranged all our local tours exactly as we wanted, he is knowledgeable about the area and all the local attractions, and his art is beautiful as well. Absolutely recommend. 」

The owners were alway available and helpful, the tent hotel setup was impressive, and Zhangjiajie mountains are unbelievable. We are definitely coming back」
