"I was greeted by Kaitlynn who was friendly, professional and efficient. My room was clean and I was surprised to see that I had a view of the ocean and my own private deck (I had booked a city view). The bistro downstairs serves good coffee, tasty baked goods and gelato and the hotel is within easy walking distance of local shops and the beach. I would definitely stay there again."

"Dashwood Inn is a quintessential B & B—it’s a cool old manor with tons of character. The beach is literally across the street and so is a magnificent park, Beacon Hill. It’s like entering another era…so authentic. We would absolutely visit again."

"Beautiful room with plenty of space! Smallish bathroom, but completely serviceable with a large vanity and shelf above. The beds were very comfortable and we even had space to walk around the pull out couch. I loved seeing the compost & recycling bin."

"We have stayed here on a number of occasions. Always reliable. Clean and quiet, except for occasional emergency vehicle sirens on Douglas St., directly adjacent. Convenient parking near entrance can be limited. Parking on south side of buiding is not convenient for building access."
