「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...

「Very clean and comfortable hotel not too far from the centre of York. Large room with a great bed. Excellent breakfast. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Would stay again」

We received “take away” type containers with wooden knives and forks, no sauces. Due to my food intolerances I was very specific about my order, my...

「The staff was very nice and helpful. We liked the location of the hotel because it was not in the most touristy area--a welcome break from the crowded sightseeing spots.」
