"Beautiful well maintained property in wonderful location."

"Stayed for 2 nights on Sat & Sun 6-8th December. We were greeted with a very busy pub but extremely attentive staff who could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The room was well furnished with a retro vibe. If I am being over critical, I would say that the carpet in the room could do with a clean and the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. Having said that, apart from those minor issues, the room was very clean and comfortable. We were accommodated with dinner reservations despite not pre booking and the pub being very busy. The food on both nights was outstanding, as was the breakfast. The pub is very dog friendly and we were very comfortable having dinner with our dog which is a very important thing for us. Would highly recommend the Duke William for a good old fashioned pub with very comfortable accommodation and top notch dining. "

"We had a fantastic time at this cottage and in Wingham. The host made us feel very welcome and was super helpful when we arrived. The cottage is beautiful, and it was a treat to stay in a place like this. Margate is about 30 30-minute drive from Wingham, but there's a seaside closer than that. Canterbury is only 10-15 minutes away, so it was a perfect location for exploring different parts of the local area. We hope we can return next year. "
