It is also very centrally located close to tons of prime brands & fun shopping spots & restaurants. I had an awesome time and I will definitely come back again soon. "When we arrived, we were told the pool was closed for maintenance. As this was the main priority for us, we chose to go elsewhere-before even checking in. After I left and checked in elsewhere, I was contacted by the staff at the Fairmont. I informed that I have to pay for a room anyways, because I didn’t cancel 48 hours in advance. When I mentioned the pool not being available, I was told it was on their website and my responsibility to know this. First of all, I booked through Hotels.com so I didn’t go to their actual website. Second, out of curiosity, I checked out their website. It did not mention that the pool was in fact closed. After I left, this hotel attempted to take the unauthorized charge from my credit card ** 7 times **. From the start, the front desk staff was not friendly and the phone calls, after I left, were very rude. As I said, the pool was the main priority for me when choosing a hotel for this night. I was travelling with children! Because of this experience, I am not likely to stay at this hotel in the future. "
