"Super stay in The Mitre, comfortable spacious bedroom overlooking the river Thames ,helpful friendly staff, good breakfast & so convenient for visit to Hampton Court We travelled with my sister & her husband who were celebrating their wedding anniversary & they were upgraded & we were all given a glass of complimentary wine . Dined one evening in 1665 restaurant….can highly recommend. Wonderful three day break.."

"Hotel facilities very good and stay comfortable. Cost of bar drinks somewhat excessive given that there is a standard service charge added on top of the displayed costs. Restaurant meals also have non discretionary service charges applied which is okay for table service meals but not appropriate for buffet meals. "

"I stayed at the hotel for one night and was very pleased with my stay. The lift was broken when I arrived so they took me up in the service lift, which gave me a different view of the stadium which was great. The staff were really great at bringing my takeaway order up to me. The gym and swimming pool is next door rather than in the hotel itself, but it has great facilities and was a really great addition to my stay. The steamroom and Sauna was very relaxing. "Room not ready so were invited for a glass of fizz. Room up some very steep stairs do not get room 23! Breakfast disappointing as the hot breakfast was cold and the bacon and poached eggs were overcooked. Wish we had stuck to the buffet after paying £300 for a night expected a better meal as we were then paying another £40. Decor amazing staff lovely and spa very nice . On the whole a good experience "
