"The location is very ideal and the view is AMAZING!! They allow you to fish as well which I appreciated. The property itself seems to still be recovering post hurricanes as some construction and maintenance work are needed especially for attention to detail. The pool wasn't clean and that was a disappointment as well. The place has a lot of potential and I'm hoping they'll be able to get there one day or return to better conditions."

"We had a positively wonderful stay at the Cliff Hotel. We hated to leave the property as it was so nice. Julian, our butler, was absolutely the best! She was so attentive and helped us arrange transportation, meals, etc. And she went the extra mile to make our stay memorable with special touches. My only suggestion might be to add a more casual type snack bar to grab a sandwich and a coffee, etc. Otherwise, it was perfect!"

"Staying at Idle awhile cliff is a great stay, however be aware of the very idle vibe. Things are extremely relaxed. Most people go out for dinner in the evenings, so staff is normally gone by 7pm on the dot. This property has so much potential but I am afraid it’s a tad bit neglected because it is the smaller of the 3 properties. The concept of the room is amazing. At night it’s extremely dark in this area and away from most of what’s happening on the west end. Upon arriving we notice a few things out of place, cars parked on the property every which way instead of on designated area, laundry sitting out and we were not briefed on the fact that dinner last seating is 6pm, we walked down to the bar area and everything was closed no one in sight on property. We spoke with property management and things improved and I hope they continue to hold standards higher to provide an exceptional level of hospitality experience, because this property complete has the makings for it!
