"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. "外観、内装が素晴らしいと思い、予約しました。予め『外観なし』と記載されていたので、期待はしていませんでしたが、あまりにも荒れ果てた庭？だったので、一緒に旅行した母親は文句タラタラでした。 旅館に泊まると、売店での買い物が楽しみの一つですが、17時閉店の為、行こうと思ったら『終わりました』と言われ、がっかりです。 お食事処や、大浴場までの距離も長く、老齢の母には辛かったようです。 部屋風呂にも温泉がひいてあり、ゆったりした浴室だったのが、救いでした。"

The tub was leaking in places and had a slime-y residue inside, and multiple floorboard soft the balcony were rotted through and gave way underfoot. The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view.
