The Salvation Army Kroc Center

Perfect location! You can walk to everything! Hotel was very clean, pool area very nice, room was updated and had cute beach theme, bed was comfy! Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was good and included, but there’s also a few great places to go within walking distance. We liked our 1 king bed room with a partial ocean view. We enjoyed our stay, will definitely come back! Note: Parking is a separate nightly fee but the hotel has a convenient gated underground parking garage so you don’t need to drive around to find parking. Yes, there are homeless people throughout parts of the beach area/boardwalk, BUT nobody bothered us. If you’re staying Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights-lots more people hanging in the area because a few clubs/bars around the area. You could not hear the noise from our hotel room (oh to be in our 20’s again-haha).

The location is great especially if you want to walk, skate or bike! We throughly enjoyed the three pools (especially the salt water adult pool) and we had a delicious dinner in the lounge! Great place for a staycation!
