"The manager Dee was fantastic. This is a great historic property right on the Old Town San Diego State Park property. It is fun and a very educational location.

"I recently stayed at the Marriott Mission Valley and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and welcoming, with a relaxing atmosphere that made my stay very comfortable.
One area that could use improvement is the parking situation. The express parking system wasn’t as smooth or convenient as I expected. It felt a little frustrating at times and I think this is an area where the hotel could really enhance the guest experience by making it easier and more efficient.
That said, the housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently kept the room spotless throughout my stay. Coming back to a perfectly clean and refreshed space each day made a big difference.
The amenities inside the hotel were fantastic. From the pool to the fitness center and common spaces, everything felt well-maintained and enjoyable to use. The food options were also impressive – fresh, flavorful, and definitely a highlight of the stay. I will admit that the food did upset my stomach a little at one point, but honestly, it still tasted amazing and felt worth it overall.
In the end, I had a great time at Marriott Mission Valley. Between the excellent housekeeping, quality amenities, and delicious food, the positives really outweighed the few hiccups. With a little improvement to the parking experience, this hotel would be close to perfect. I’d definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for"
