Very happy with location as most areas of SD were within 15-30 minutes! The pool and hangout amenities were fantastic, I paid for the buffet breakfast which was pretty good. The staff were generally helpful and nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Clean room and lobby, pool is nice too. Wish they had better access to a water filter in the lobby for people arriving late and leaving early mornings. Gym was closed but had access to the neighboring hotel. All around great experience at the Marriott as a solo traveler. Location is very convenient to the train and local restaurant gems.
Overall, mostly satisfied with our family stay here for SDSU Family Weekend. Pool was perfect to have on 100 degree days. Parking per day prices ($38) are WAY too high. Guests are already paying $$$ for the room and bar, is there really a need to charge almost $40 every night? Parking is a problem if you come back late at night. Very skinny spaces and people take up two. If you are going to charge $40 per night parking, maybe provide free continental breakfast for guests? It would be a nice compromise. There are not ANY places to eat within walking distance. So, it would be nice to have the breakfast at hotel included for families.
My family stayed there and absolutely loved it.
We will return to the hotel next time we’re visiting our daughter in San Diego, which will be quite often!
The staff was very accommodating and friendly!
Beautiful hotel, great areas for family and kids to play, festive atmosphere, friendly staff, etc.
The rooms itself were pretty dirty like they haven’t been cleaned in a while; dust everywhere dirty shower floors, and broken shower handles/head.
By far one of the best hotels I stayed at! From the front desk staff, to the bar, to the restaurant, to the pool! Everyone was friendly, property was clean and the pool music was such a vibe! What make it even better it was the location!
