"The Celecton is a nice, standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are small, but they are practical, very clean and amenities are good. If you want a hotel that is close to the Castle then this is a good one, but it is 10-15 minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, and the other attractions in Matsumoto. My room was facing the Castle but directly above a busy road, so it was quite noisy."

"The staff was very helpful, I could leave my luggage at reception and they took it up to my room so it was ready for me when I checked in. There are four different baths public baths: main bath;outdoor bath, and two smaller ones which had different herbs in them. Breakfast was also very good.
