"とても親切なご主人で気持ちよくご対応いただきました。ただ、設備の古さは否めないためご利用の際は事前に理解しておくことをお勧めします。特に水回りについては他の方も書かれている通りで、水圧はかなり低く、シャワーヘッドを真横に向けてもユニットバスの反対側の壁に水が届かないくらいです。懐かしの混合水栓なので湯温の調整は手動。これが困ったことにお湯側の蛇口を回して適温にしようとしても、あるところより1mm多く開くと触れないくらい熱くなり1mm戻すとぬるい…という状態で、結局真冬の寒さの中ぬるくて弱いシャワーを浴びることになりました。また、朝食付きにしたかったのですがご事情があったのか対応困難とのことで諦めて別途外で食べることになりました。その点も予約後に判明すると困る方もいるかも知れませんので事前の確認をお勧めします。繰り返しますがご主人のご対応はとてもよかったので、設備に目をつぶればお勧めできる宿です。"

"Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience."

"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. Personally I liked Peppermint’s breakfast better than buffet breakfast, because we ate everything that’s served. No waste, so eco-friendly. Another thing we liked was a nearby museum. "Pretty new looking hotel. Room for was clean and modern. Bathroom was bigger than other hotel rooms I’ve stayed at in Japan. Staff were nice, and they offer free soba or ice cream nightly from 8-10pm. Close to the station, castle, and izakaya and restaurant area."
