「The Bowman was great. On an accessibility note, for anyone having issues stepping high, the tub in the family unit is almost 2 feet tall and can be challenging to step into. 」

「Booked here for a trip to Nottingham (as prices in the City itself were prohibitive). Located by rail and tram stops, the Hotel was ideal for my purpose, and an affordable price. Welcoming and frienly staff. Excellent pub food with a great range of local ales on offer. Basic room and facilities suitable for my visit and fairly reflected in the price. I found the bed a little uncomfortable but thats probably just down to personal preferences, so all-in-all an excellent base for my stay.」

「WOW! What an awesome place,. The room and views were to die for. Sharon was a fantastic host, very helpful and informative and provided an excellent hearty breakfast. We will be returning this year and will not consider staying anywhere else 」

「We loved ot here and i have nothing bad to say about it the service was 100% the breakfast was great and even when we arrived and we couldn't open our window nothing was to.much trouble and he just got on and did it me and my other half are definitely going to make coming here a regular thing amd the afternoon tea was excellent thank you and see you again soon 」

「It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.」

「Great for Peak District, lively pub with atmospheare...well prepared food at reasonanle prices and nice and quiet after 11 or so.... full breakfast with options. Really enjoyed a one nighr stop and would return whrn next out hiking!」
