"This hotel was adorable. Very clean, wonderful breakfast included, and beautiful grounds. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The pool area really needs a makeover because the cushions are frankly pretty gross. Also, they clearly do not have anyone tasked with cleaning up the litter, meaning empty plates and cups, on a frequent enough basis. Avoid the breakfast - it's a $60 per person mistake. Go instead to the cafe Eno, but be prepared to wait in line 20 minutes. Other than that, I must say the hotel is perfectly located and generally stylish and historically important to the area. They just need to try a little harder."

"A nice stay. The ac unit filter looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Also the inside of the 2 wall light fixtures nex to the beds were very dirty. The rest of the room was very clean. The bed near the door covered one of the few electrical outlets. If you move the bed forward an inch, you can’t open the door! The courtyard is charming. We would stay there again—maybe in a different room. "

"This stay at Bowers at Coronado Shores Resort far exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderfully professional, helpful, and super responsive to every need. Its perfect location offered easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants in this posh neighborhood. I’d return in a heartbeat."

"Tiny double beds, needs major updating— old cream colored jetted tubs, old patio furniture, etc. Nice for families who are interested in surrounding activities. "

"We love staying here! The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, updated, and comfortable. We enjoy the lobby area and appreciate the amenities including: coffee/tea in the AM, spa and sauna, and BBQs! Great proximity to the beach and restaurants. We will stay here every trip!"
