「Large bungalow style room with full disability access and wet room. Stylish. Comfy beds. Check in lady was friendly. Room was left open when we arrived but no electricity so had to go find someone. Bathroom bin had not been emptied but otherwise clean. Struggled to find someone serve us behind the bars. Breakfast was a little anaemic but good quality and tasty. Plenty of parking near the room Would stay again.」

「I stay around 10 times a year. A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room. A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel. The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food. Highly recammend!」

「Best place for relaxing」

「Lovely place. Would have liked to walk around the estate but theres no clear path through the golf course, or the staff couldnt show me on any map. Room, facilites, especially the spa and food all great though.」

「Wakefield Westgate

「It was hard for me to check in without a reception, I needed a help from a guy who lives there.」

「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「The bedroom had been recently renovated and bathroom was very nice until you switched on the beautiful shower but only a dribble of water comes out - the water pressure was awful Informed reception and they just said ok we will tell maintenance」

「Very disappointing stay, particularly considering the price paid. The room was comfortable and the shower good, but housekeeping standards declined throughout our stay. Even after servicing, sheets were not changed, the floor was not hoovered and the bathroom was not mopped. Breakfast was poor in both quality and service, and got worse as the week progressed. We ate in the restaurant one evening and paid premium prices for very poor food. The pizza appeared to have a shop-bought base and...
