「Stephanie, the front desk staff, was very cheerful and diligently attended to my requests. The other staff members were also very kind. As for the facilities, I felt the shower pressure was very weak.」

「Scandia is a great property. The people who run it are very nice and get to know you. I have enjoyed my time here. There is easy access to everything; close to Carlsbad Village, the neighboring city of Oceanside, beaches, parks. What is really nice: it is off the main road but there is never heavy traffic. A car goes by here and there but since it is a quiet village, you don’t hear the noise of cars. There is an occasional Amtrack or freight train that goes by but it is brief and charming...

「The Hotel/Motel was a dump. Air condition not working. Carpet rip, shower tub looked like somebody scraped it with a hatchet. Dont recommended this hotl again.」
