「We had an ocean front room with the historic wood paneling. It was charming and comfortable. I loved having the ocean access. The only complaint came from my teenage companion. She was surprised at the lack of outlets for charging her many electronic devices. Myself, this was to be expected and I didn't stress over it! I will definitely stay here again when visiting the OBX. Thanks so much!」

「While we not directly on the beach it was only a short walk. The ambiance of these vintage cottages was comfortable and spacious. 」

「Absolutely enjoyed the access to the beach and the staff were very attentive. There were a few large issues though. The tub would not drain leaving mid shin deep water while trying to shower. There were two large stinging caterpillars one in the towels the other on the wall. The AC window unit would not stay running keeping the room temperature very hot. After calling twice to verify they had a coffee pot that took pods upon arrival it was filter and grounds however the staff was able to find...

「My husband and I have been coming to the Seahorse for quite a while. It is one our favorite places to stay. Our room was well appointed, clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff has always been kind and helpful. The location across from Jeanette’s pier, the beach, Sam and Omie’s, ice cream and Calhoun’s makes walking distance very convenient.」

「We were only driving through on our way to Charleston, but so glad we stayed, it will now be a destination. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful the staff was nice and helpful, great little restaurant right across the street. Nice walkable area.」

「Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. 」

「Room was clean but food left over in the microwave tht had a horriable smell in room..i informed the front desk she just gave me spray and said someone had just checked out at 10 am..i doupt it cause they wud have smelled the rotten food..fridge didnt work..and toilet gurgled all not like it was backed up..deff find a better motel or place to stay..front desk could have cared less..」
