「Parking is an issue」

「We loved our stay at the Inn! It was perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town and a close walk to the beach! We would love to come back and visit! Highly recommend!!」

「Very clean, cozy, well appointed cottage, perfect for our overnight trip to Carmel, can't wait to come back!!」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」

Bathroom was equipped with all the toiletries one might need. Beds were made up on the second day of our stay and we appreciated that. Parking was a little challenging only in the fact that the Inn was filled to capacity. Its in a great centralized location, with easy access to Hwy 1.
