"Overall disappointing ; I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. -Terrible Wi-Fi and terrible internet connection that continuously dropped off. - Shower had so much water pressure but w/ only half of a glass shower door like in Europe, water sprayed alot outside the shower creating a mess to clean up every day. - Daily resort fee of $40 per night but no great amenities other than for golfers. Hot tub was unusable since it was always full of people. - Disliked that they charge extra $20 per night for parking which is not included in Expedia's total resort fee. And there was not enough convenient parking near my building."

"The inn was a throw back to when I grew up in Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach. The room, though older, had all the amenities my daughter and I needed and appreciated for our trip. The main reason I chose this lodging was for its location. It was perfect. From walking along the beach each morning to having an astounding coffee at the next door coffeehouse, the Lover’s Point Inn exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be frequenting The Lover’s Point Inn in my future trips to the peninsula and I look forward to seeing the friendly and helpful staff again."

"Dated hotel with some updates; staff are amazing! There is no restaurant or bar at this property; breakfast is a very limited selection that is delivered to your door in the morning on a tray (think very light continental). It's an old property, the rooms are quite large. Mine faced the bay, I got to sleep with the sound of the waves breaking on the beach via slightly opened sliding glass door to my balcony. Heat/cooling wasn't easy to figure out, the in-wall heater wasn't plugged in or working. Other comments about parking spaces being extremely tight are correct. It's at the end of Cannery Row so you're a bit away from the bustle. Staff were extemely helpful in choosing a "locals pick" for dinner on Municipal Warf 2. It's okay to stay and sleep there, but not many amentities to make it a vacation property that stands out. Cheaper than some and on the bay, so that's the plus."

"Just sad how bad this place has become. They advertise a tiny dirty plastic leather couch as a queen sofa bed for 2! The “breakfast” is a total joke with tiny muffins from the dollar store. Upcharges galore. The staff is annoying and can’t be bothered. Cannot recommend less. "
