"Apart from the floor not being the cleanest, the location was great a 5 minutes walk to the beach. There were also tea and coffe making facilities in the room, very unusual for an American motel."

"Parking is off property, only have valet on weekends, historic rooms are smaller than normal rooms, toilet was weird sounded like it was air injected. Sink faucet was low pressures, shower was hard to go from faucet to shower. Older walls and ceiling heard everything above and outside intend hall way., sounding like a wooden dance hall above our room. Other than those things the stay was okay, I would stay again in another part of the hotel. Lil pricey for standard historic rooms. "

"This place is a mixed bag. Location is great and grounds are beautiful. Front desk staff also great. Condition of the rooms was not so good. First room had a broken window screen (no air conditioning, so the window needs to open). Also had a gap in the door bottom a rat could get through. Staff responded immediately when we complained and upgraded us to a room with a fireplace/balcony. This one was also in need of maintenance. The door to the balcony had a track so caked with dirt that it took two of us to open it. Woodwork scratched and stained. Got in the shower to discover no soap in the dispenser. We were afraid to light the fireplace, wondering if the flue would be blocked with something. This place could be great with some basic maintenance."

"I recently stayed at this charming bed and breakfast and had a truly wonderful experience. The place itself is nice and quaint, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. What really stood out, though, was the staff, they were incredibly attentive and friendly from the moment I arrived. It’s rare these days to find that level of genuine hospitality and personal care. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Can’t beat the stunning views."

"This was perfect for a last minute stop on our road trip. No frills, but clean, great location, and accommodating staff. We knew we'd be arriving after midnight, so called ahead, and the front desk arranged our room with a self-service lock box, and also gave us the number for the overnight attendant should we need anything. Can't beat parking right in front of your door after a long day of driving and a car full of gear. We even had time for a quick hot tub soak for our sore muscles the next morning!"
