"Asilomar has been a go to for many years, and this time around the room was even better then expected spent a great birthday/anniversary at the location. Parking can be a bit tricky but other than that staff very accommodating, breakfast (good), room good and balcony was good. Highly recommended if you enjoy the woodsy feel and listening to the ocean waves…"

"Room was very comfortable if a little rundown and disheveled. The fireplace was a nice touch, but it wasn’t cold enough to use it. Not the best experience sleeping next to the hotel laundry room. Great location if you’re looking for a peaceful neighborhood to get some rest close to the beach."
