I usually don't book motels, but I decided to take a chance on El Castell given all the positive reviews. I came for the Monterey Bay Half Marathon and everything worked out perfectly. The room was clean and well lit, and the mattress was pretty comfy. Would stay again!

Clean, updated, spacious, affordable. Rooms room service everyday, laundry facility maintained very clean. Heated pool was nice. Pleasant friendly staff. Plenty of free parking on premises. Definitely worth the stay
