Plenty of room. A full kitchen and a fireplace. Best in town. Quiet. Close to everything. Don't let the name fool you. Oh, great breakfast too. My only complaint was there were no banana bananas, lol . Terrific coffee bar.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The room was spotless with a big, cozy bed, and we loved having a balcony to relax on. It’s the perfect getaway near beautiful spots in Pacific Grove. The location is ideal since it’s between Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea where endless sceneries of nature and water will make your stay more memorable and relaxing. Not to mention, the 17 Mile Drive is just minutes away, as well as the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary and a historic lighthouse located nearby. It’s truly a highly recommended place.

Room was okay--slightly run down, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast could definitely be improved. One of the staff talked down to me at check-in, but the other was very nice at check-out (though she'd clearly been having a loud and contentious argument with another staff member in the back room as I walked into the office). We've stayed at this hotel probably a dozen times over the years, but I'm not sure we'll be returning.
