"Older property. Staff was great. Drafty room. Could see light around the door. Wall heater was noisy and did not put out enough heat for the room. Window in the bathroom was above the toilet and you could see blurred people sitting on the toilet when walking by going to your room."

"A reasonable stay in Carmel with a walkable distance to beautiful downtown area. It’s about a mile or less from the main beach—an easy drive or a pleasant walk if you're up for it. The property feels more like a home than a luxury hotel. While the breakfast room is on the smaller side, it offers a decent selection of choices."

"Quiet oasis, very stylish. Not like a hotel - little scattered cottages. Note heater is small and cooling is ceiling fans. If very cold or very hot, not sure if it’s enough for perfect comfort. Very nice bed. Photos didn’t show a microwave but there was one, as well as fridge, in the room. Excellent spot for a rest. Carmel much more peaceful than Monterey."

"We love our stays at the Wayfarer. It is our go to spot for a quick overnight stay. There’s not a great amenities on site but there are plenty of places nearby to enjoy. "
