This is really a motel with great branding. It is on a very loud corner. Our room was over $1,000 and it was not remotely worth it. The staff is very nice and there is a good breakfast but our room was directly on a busy road, next to the ice machine and we heard loud road noise, people accessing the ice machine, and doors slamming loudly all night. A terrible and very disappointing stay. Since I booked through Expedia, the hotel would not reimburse and I can't get through to Expedia customer service because my booking is in the past.

Property has a great location because it’s close to all the stores and restaurants. Few walks away from great restaurants and super close to the beach! The room was nice, clean, and cozy! Both the interior and exterior of the property were beautiful. Every corner was instagram-able. Staff were nice and accommodating. Would definitely book here if we decide to come back to Carmel!

Cute hotel and love the amenities. Nice touch to have a glass of rosé when checking in as well as cookies! Only thought I had was the room lacked any decent lighting so getting ready (hair/makeup) was a bit difficult. Other than that good room! Loved that they even had a hair straightener and steamer in the room
