"The hotel itself seems a little older but it has updated their rooms. The bed was very comfortable. Nice strong shower. And everything was very clean. The main issue I had was the front desk. The line was a bit long, which I get, it was after 3 and check in time, I didn’t mind waiting. Maybe the front desk personal was just having a long day but she did not seem like she wanted to be there. Not saying she had to be overly friendly, but maybe something more than just a few words and going through the motions. Or smile would have been nice. "

"Room was clean, the refillable water station was a nice touch in the lobby. It was in the middle of the shopping and right next to the trolley. Staff was very pleasant and there was off site parking not far from the hotel. Property has an old 1910's vibe. "

"The Zephyr is in a great location near Pier 39, the ferry to Alcatraz, the cable cars, trams and buses. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is reasonable value for money in SF. You have everything you need nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. "

"On the first day when we arrived, they gave us a room, but when we went upstairs the room had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room. We moved into the new room and later that night, around 11 PM, someone started banging very hard on our door and then ran away. We opened the door but no one was there."
