「Excellent staff - very friendly and nice communal bar area. For me the double bed was a bit narrow and the continental breakfast buffet a little limited but otherwise a very pleasant stay.」

「Very friendly and efficient checkin. Spacious clean room with very comfortable bed. No AC but fan provided in room due to warm weather. Very good cooked breakfast made to order, Excellent dinner in fine dining restraurant.」

「Everything was good, especially breakfast. One negative point was funiture for hunging the clothes, which is bit old and not good smell. I suggest to change the old type of funiture to new ones. We want to stay again.」

「Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room.」

「We absolutely loved our stay here, every member of staff was friendly and exceptionally professional, Emma on reception was absolutely wonderful. Very enjoyable meals, spa was great. Beautiful and convenient location, I'd happily stay again.」

「Perfect location. Central to the island. Room was cool ..clean and quiet even above a pub. Breakfast was lovely」

「The property is quite outdated but the staff were helpful and it was adequate for our one night stay.」

「Clean and comfortable room , great location」

「Booked a 3 night stay here.Great location, right opposite Osbourne House. Nice period property and room was spacious but tired in areas (shower had pieces of sealant hanging off and mould on the shower door). It would benefit from a good clean (eg dirty skirting boards, cobwebs, carpet stained). Hotel is situated on a main road so noisy even late at night with the windows open, although that didn't bother us. Had one evening meal here and one breakfast. Food was lovely although breakfast slow....

「Perfect location in Shanklin, wonderful views. It’s just a short walk to the old village and Shanklin Chine. The hotel is a little tired in places but overall it was very good. It’s great that you can use the facilities in the sister hotel next door so there’s plenty to enjoy.」
