Upon arrival we were shown to our room, which was clean spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was amazing along with the service. Will definitely stay again. Thankyou.

Great stay at a nice, clean property. Room was a nice size and well decorated with some nice touches. Breakfast included was very nice. Great service from all staff from moment we arrived to moment we left.

Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return.

We like the fact the advertised room, view and facilities were exactly as promised. With small number of rooms staff were attentive and friendly, and provided a service personalised to you. Breakfast amazing value, choice and quality will definitely visit again

Excellent stay will be returning :)

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic time! The staff were wonderful, the room was good with a lovely view and everything you could need. The breakfast was fantastic , evening meal the same. Really loved it and will definitely be returning! Our first time on the island and had a lovely time. Special shout out to Angela and Adam who were super friendly and accommodating. Thank you !

A very busy country pub, stunning food including the breakfast. Noisy down stairs but could not hear a thing in the bedroom. Looking forward to staying again.

Really lovely spot for a b&b!!!! Staff were really nice and helpful!! Breakfast was really lovely - particularly as a veggie!!!! Room was too small for two and the only reason why facilities scored a four. It was ok for one night for two of us, but wouldn’t want any longer. Would definitely recommend!!

The pub was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and beautifully cooked. We also had a meal and a couple of drinks on the evening we arrived, and I can say that it was the best we'd had for a long time. Totally blew away a lot of the mainland pubs. We'll definitely be returning. Excellent A

Lovely room.

Nice room. Very helpful friendly staff. Only issue we had is they were not aware they were listed on hotels.com and tried to charge us again for the room, they also charged for breakfast despite the website saying it was included in the price.
