"Beautiful property with helpful and attentive staff. The hotel grounds were well kept and we even found some great walking paths (in both directions) from the beach. The beach itself is a little rocky but but very beautiful to snorkel from and we saw such beautiful fish and many sea turtles! We also appreciated the well stocked market for coffee, snacks and gifty items. We did not use the spa, but it smelled wonderful on our way to the gym. The Goop store is an excellent touch and the hotel boutique had a great selection of mens and women's bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, totes, jewelry, dresses and purses. They had a small section for kids. The closest mall 'nearby', where the Tommy Bahama restaurant was, is not worth going to unless you need a grocery store. Most retail stores were for rent. There was another shopping area near Waikoloa (Kings and Queens market) with lot's of options and the famous Shave Ice! Note - we did not make restaurant reservations prior to arriving, and we paid the price. We either had zero availability at places we wanted to go, or got stuck with unfavorable time options. It all worked out fine, but we had three dinner meals at their beach bar (which does have a famous chef behind it) - the food was delicious! *Definitely make a Canoe House resy a month or few weeks out. Merriman's is another to get into."

"This is a luxurious , spacious condo located in an immaculately maintained setting with lush landscaping & mature shade trees, lots of colorful birds, and close to everything in the Mauna Lani community. We liked the open layout of the various buildings in the complex which are not separated by fences or impassable hedges. The kitchen was very well equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, a large variety of spices, and everything one needs for preparing meals. A large pantry closet in the kitchen contains lots of staple food items. The large lanai with a BBQ, refrigerator, full size dining table, and comfortable, cushioned easy chairs was a definite plus. The large well-furnished bedrooms and spacious bathrooms were much appreciated. The pool & exercise room were within walking distance via a path between other condos in the complex. We've stayed at various properties in the Mauna Lani development many times previously and this one was among the best. We hope to be able to come back and stay here in the future!"

"The location is hard to beat! It’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach, where you’ll find lounge chairs, great snorkeling, and fun waves for the kids. We also loved grabbing coffee at the nearby hotel. There are several good restaurants within a 10-minute walk, plus a grocery store, which made everything very convenient.The gated community is a big plus, and the villa has everything you need, including a well-equipped kitchen if you plan to cook.The villa itself is a bit outdated and could use some renovation, but for us, the amazing location more than made up for it. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back."
