"The house was clean, the area was great. Only downfall was a random person walked thru the yard to the neighbors house but he didnt bother anyone. Just spooked us. But other then that jerry and jill were very helpful and nice. Thank you guys for trusting us with your vrbo home!"

"I was so impressed and pleased with my stay at Clarion Pointe Mattoon. From our check in until our departure, the staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was so clean and updated. We stayed 2 nights and it was a very peaceful experience. We have stayed down the road at the pricier hotel and this stay was comparable to it, only the price was better! If I had to have something to mention, the exhaust fan in the bathroom does not have its own control. "

"We stayed here when visiting our daughter at EIU for family weekend. We hated somewhere that we could bring our dogs along so this was a perfect place. "

"Cute little house with everything you need! Only thing I might recommend is an extra chair or love seat in living room, other than that everything was as described, if not better!! "

"Overall is was ok. Had to ask for it to be vacuumed since floors were not real clean when got there. Since we had the 2 room with the king bed and a queen bed for 4 people would have thought more towels would have been provided originally and more than 1 roll of toilet paper but went and bought some so was ok with that. The room next to us had a dog that barked whenever the person was gone and the little TV room was told while watching a movie so could keep an eye on laundry that they had it reserved. Was under the impression that as long as it wasn't being used we could use it. As said before overall it was ok since we weren't there for most of the time it was reserved since we were there for a family funeral and out with our family most times. It was convenient for our purpose. Suggestions would be rules posted for all guests to see and maybe have some type of dresser or cabinet to be able to put suitcases on and a place to hang clothes. Will definitely use again if need in the future."
