"While the Fairmont is grandiose, clean, and staff make an exceptional effort to ensure you’re cared for, for $800 a night it leaves a lot to be desired. We booked a “city view” room and our windows were 2/3 fogged to block the view of the alley. It was very loud (big trucks, etc). The room itself was clean, mattresses and pillows were nice, the bathrooms are old and tiny and overall disappointing. Additionally, it took over 4 hours for us to get our luggage after the bell hop had taken it. Staff worked hard to remedy this and we appreciate that. Despite this, for $800 a night I would not stay here again. "

"Property was an ideal base for our family when visiting the Island. All the facilities we needed and the added bonus of an array of breakfast items which meant we didn't need to rush out for groceries as soon as we arrived. Children could play safely in the garden.Host was very responsive to any questions we asked both before and during our trip."

"Darling space with incredibly friendly, responsive hosts! Anytime we needed anything, they responded right away. Even brought over a french press when I requested one. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen was so well-appointed with food/ condiments- more so than any I've ever encountered in my years of travel! Pool is darling with a waterfall, etc... and warm enough even in cold and rainy weather. "
