Fairmont Empress
10/10 Excellent
"I want to give a shout out to the Fairmont Empress and the staff and specifically Mark . I accidentally booked a non redundable trip for 1 night for the wrong night. Mark and the staff worked with Expedia to resolve the issue and allow my friend and I to atay at the hotel as intended within our budget for our West Coast bucket list trip. It really made our trip that Mark and the Fairmont Staff csme through and resolved the issue even though theybwere under no obligation to do so as i made the booking mistake. "
"I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and tranquil. The room was spotless, and everything was just right. The garden was also a lovely place to relax and spend time."
"A very good breakfast in a lovely breakfast room, was included with the room , the room itself was great, two very comfy queen beds, adequate storage so you weren’t tripping over your suitcase and even a window that opened. Had a lot of charm and gorgeous gardens. "
"Perfect location, right beside the royal BC museum, 2 minute walk to Parliament, and short 5-10 minute walk to central downtown. Convenient that it has a full kitchen that is fully stocked with utensils/pans/plates/bowls/cups/cutting board/knives/scissors, even with dish sponges, dish detergent, paper towels, dish cloth, kitchen towel, full size fridge/freezer, stove, oven (with baking pan!), microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker that actually makes good strong coffee for a hotel. Lots of lighting, not like your typical very dim Hotel room. Sofa bed that comes with a full size extra futon mattress so it is very comfortable. Old building but very clean. Very happy with this hotel!"
