"A beautiful, relaxing stay at the Fairmont Empress. Perfect location, beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable beds and highly professional, friendly staff make for an excellent weekend away in Victoria. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer."

"We had an excellent room at this family owned hotel. The bathroom was large and appeared recently remodeled - shower had excellent water pressure...The room had an adjustable HVAC system so we had the exact temperature we wanted and a night light so we did not need to stumble around in the dark. Other comments had mentioned street noise but we were on the 3rd floor on a Friday night and did not notice a problem except for a short period - perhaps about 1:30 am, probably when a nightclub next door shut down and people were leaving. The location is great - we needed to be close to the marine air terminal - and we very much enjoyed our stay."

Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect quiet retreat to relax after a full day out exploring. We especially appreciated the property’s amenities: The Hot Tub & Pool Area: The hot tub was clean, well-maintained, and ideal for unwinding in the evening. The Games Room: A standout feature! Having access to a dedicated game room with billiards and games added a fun, relaxed touch to our downtime. Location & Charm: Being within an easy walking distance to the Inner Harbour and local sights made getting around seamless. The Royal Scot balances classic charm with great practical comforts. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Victoria and gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, amenity-rich stay!"
