"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"I had a lovely stay in one of the double rooms which is very spacious for Japanese hotels. I loved the the design of the room as well as its amenities - especially the en-suite bathroom! It’s located in a quite side street and the downstairs gyoza restaurant was outstanding! Would highly recommend staying at hotel inc when in Tokyo! "
"Ishiahara is now my new favorite place in the world. The Ryokan at first seems humble, but the design, layout, and hospitality of it made me feel as if I was staying at the most luxurious hotel in the world. I look forward to staying here again!"
"Great boutique hotel, unique in its traditional structure of OLD Kyoto and yet updated with modern elements. Breakfasts are more snack like, complimentary evening cocktails is a nice way to end the day. "
"Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights we had the private residence. Beautiful place, fell in love with it but the moment we stepped foot init "
"Our room was large and very compact with a spa located like bathroom. The staff was very accommodating. The neighborhood is quiet and uncontested but convenient to attractions and public transportation. "

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well equipped. It is a decent place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff."
"Le buffet déjeuner était délicieux et toujours plein, même lorsque l’on arrivait vers la fin du service. Les bains étaient propres, nous avions accès à plusieurs options dont un bain de méditation. La chambre était spacieuse pour un hôtel japonais, mais le lit était très dur (nous nous sommes habitués après quelques nuits). Dans l’ensemble, nous avons eu une très belle expérience !"
"Located just across from the Kyoto garden our stay at the Screen was pleasant. The concierge spoke great English and was very helpful when we needed to make reservations. We stayed in the designer suite which was probably one of the largest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We ate breakfast there every day except for the one day we were getting up very early to go to the Fushimi Inari Taisha. We let them know that we wouldn’t be needing breakfast and they offered to make us sandwiches instead to take with us. I’m not sure if this is a common thing in Japan but I thought it was so nice and accommodating. I really appreciated it. It’s a little far from train stations so if that’s important to you keep that in mind but if u don’t mind a walk go for it. I didn’t think it was too far to walk. "
"Great customer service the second we stepped foot into the hotel.
They had complimentary sake drinks during the evenings.
Great breakfast spread and location was super convenient to train and buses.
Will definitely stay in the future again. "
