"Wonderful we have a great time Cleaning is good staff is nice good location "

"A traditional family run Ryokan right in the heart of the temple complex of Zeno-hi. An amazing experience of a Japanese room, and the accompanying culture of the Ryokan. The hotel is set into the fabric of Nagano tradition, being at an original temple site. Nearby eateries to suit all tastes. Easy access to central Nagano on frequent bus routes to the main JR station and 600m downhill to the local Denetsu station at Zenkoji for a day out to Obuse."

"Immaculate rooms and the staff was very helpful and accommodating for English speakers. Relaxing hot baths, incredible food in an unfussy setting"

"Lovely couple running the place, but it was definitely a bit run down and outdated. Great if you are looking to explore the area on a budget! Great hosts. There are no private bathrooms which I think I just missed on the listing, but otherwise the room was lovely."

"Quite room, nice stuff, excellent food"

"The owner was super friendly and the room was comfortable! Would stay here again. Thank you for the nice evening ☺️"
