"Our stay at Zócalo Central Hotel was truly exceptional and far more than just a hotel stay — it was a curated experience for my family and me. The location is perfect, centrally located in the heart of Mexico City with easy access to major attractions and restaurants. What made the experience unforgettable, however, was the incredible hospitality and personalized service. Fernando and Roberto went above and beyond helping us plan a unique mix of popular attractions and a personalized city tour that took us off the beaten path. Their recommendations allowed us to experience a side of Mexico City we never would have found on our own. They also coordinated our airport transportation seamlessly. The rooms were immaculate, and the attention to detail was amazing. Upon arrival, the staff asked if we were celebrating anything, and after learning it was my son’s birthday, they decorated the room festively and left thoughtful handwritten notes each day that made our stay extra special. The breakfast is impeccable, and if your room includes breakfast, you also receive access to the 24/7 café — a huge perk while adjusting to the time difference. On departure day, road closures prevented our driver from picking us up in front of the hotel, but Antonio ensured we were able to navigate smoothly to our pickup location. Every interaction made us feel welcomed and cared for. This was more than a stay — it was an unforgettable experience."

"Hotel management needs to re-train some of it's staff in hospitality. The night manager was rude and condescending towards to us and our friends when we tried to invite them up for a drink. I understand that it might have been late and there are rules but that should be communicated to hotel guests with some level of grace and politeness. If you're trying to pass yourself off as an elegant establishment then you should treat your guests similarly. Though who knows, maybe if we were dressed in suits and blazers we would have received better treatment. Also the hotel listings should let you know that some of the rooms look onto an alleyway staircase and are thus fogged for privacy. Meaning you cannot see out of them. They open a crack so you can look into the dingy alleyway. Amazing ! The hotel itself is very centrally located the interior is beautiful but it does not in anyway make up for the soul sucking experience I had here. There is no reason to stay here when there are so many other options in centro historical."

"The hotel is located in a central and safe location with lots of restaurants and sightseeing opportunities in the area. The buffet was a good choice but go earlier rather than later for the freshest offerings and definitely order from the egg station. The hotel itself was fine except for we had an incident where one of us in the middle of the night got up to go to the bathroom and crashed into the shower door, which is directly as you come into the bathroom, an open shower concept. Because of how the shower is designed, it is reasonable for a sleepy person to crash into it - my mother hit her head, causing headache and disorientation for the day. Thank goodness it was temporary. Several people in our party felt the pool was not appealing given that the water had a green color to it. We requested a driver to pick us up from the airport which made us feel safe and secure, especially because we came in after midnight, and she waited for us, Be prepared to pay almost double than what you will for the one-way return if you choose this option. We felt it was worth it since I was traveling alone with my teenager. Overall, we recommend this hotel, the location is superb."

"The location and history of this Hotel makes it a winner. In a super vibrant part of the city and the entrance/hallway make it worth going to alone. The rooms are a bit dated and there is no kettle - for a brit, that's a big thing, however amenities closeby make nothing a disaster. Great little gem of a hotel close by to everything you could want or need."
