Highland Tolbooth Kirk

Wasn’t aware until after booking that there is no reception, everything is sent to you through WhatsApp which is fine but if you need to store your luggage you need to go down the street to the sister hotel. Normally this is no issue but the receptionist was rude and when we were told to come back before 6 pm to retrieve our luggage, the receptionist was already gone. We fortunately got lucky and ran into other guests who were staying at the sister hotel who let us in. The hotel was quite lovely and spacious and very convenient to where we needed to go. Thank you

Great Nostalgic hotel, beautifully appointed rooms and the location was perfect to visit the city of Edinburgh.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. It’s so beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The food at Abacus was delicious and the staff there were also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Scott.
