"Fantastic overall. Beach is perfect for swimming (snorkel elsewhere). The views from the North Tower rooms are incredible. No black out shades in the rooms…that was frustrating. Staff was very attentive and kind and the breakfast and on-site restaurants were great, however. Location is a bit isolated, so this is perfect for couple or a family seeking a quiet but fun trip. "

"The beautiful views from the house are impressive and so nice to wake up to every morning. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds, bedding and pillows were very comfy!The kitchen and living area was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 7. The Mauna Kea resort grounds are beautiful and we loved the beach area where we spent most of our time! It’s a great house for a family vacation."
